Continuing with HSBC in Sheffield, working on a digitial privacy framework project ensuring the correct treatment of prospective customers data. Sad to move from Griffith House, certainly the end of an era, but loving the new Grosvenor House building
Last day on the BREXIT programme
It’s been an eventful year and great to have been part of such a capable team. The Branches have now all been migrated and are operating under HSBC France, regardless of what happens with our political indecision in the UK, HSBC’s European operations head office is now in Paris and isolated from any further wranglings.
There were ups and downs, as with all large programmes, but everyone pulled together and the implementations went exceptionally well. I’ll miss my colleagues and extended team members at the branches.
Last breakfast in sunny Sheffield for a little while until I come back in June for another assignment.

The final part of BREXIT Branch moves for HSBC sees Poland now fully aligned under HSBC France.

A substantial milestone in HSBC’s BREXIT programme. The Branch Moves workstream successfully migrate 6 EEA branches to HSBC France in preparation for BREXIT on the 27th March.

Annual Test Awards

HSBC Ring Fence Bank
HSBC’s new ring-fenced bank is now live, what a remarkable achievement and a huge piece of work that was successfully delivered on time by the programme.
Working as Programme Test manager for the Commercial Bank my test team focused on three sub workstreams Digital, Trade and Other. This encompassed customer-facing web applications, business internet banking and mobile apps. Global trade solutions and data management and warehouse platforms. These applications were used to generate the stimulus required to facilitate the product based testing for the logical separation of the new bank.
I’d like to thank all my colleagues for a job very well done, it was a challenge and a half, but we pulled through together and we should be very proud of our achievements.
